MOVIES & VIDEO ON YOUR TREO 600

I have to admit that one of the most exciting things that you can do on your Treo 600 is watch movies or videos while on the go.  For those who already owned a Palm handheld before purchasing a Treo this will be no news but for those new to the platform it should be a welcome bonus to know that you can do this.

Here are a few of the tools that you can use to view and convert movies and videos to play on your Treo:

Kinoma Player (Free)
Kinoma Producer is available for both Mac and PC users (Free Trial then $29.99)
You can get some free trailers to get started here at Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment

TealMovie (Free Trial then $29.95)
You will find a ton of free short movies to get started here and under no circumstances miss to download the hilarious 'Stick Fight'

Firepad Picture Viewer & Converter for PC and Mac ($29.99 with 30 Day Money Back Guarantee)

MMPlayer (Free) [Please note that while I have found MMPlayer unstable on the Treo in the past, the newest version 0.2.12 is a significant and stable improvement]
Here is a guide on how to rip your DVD's to watch on your Treo using MMPlayer.  You can use this software to convert your DVD's to avi format in order to playback on Treo (Free Limited Trial or $32.00 Full Version)
DrDivx (Free 15 Day Trial then $49.99) [You'll need this or another similar tool to convert your large Divx files to a handheld format.]

Enjoy and please let me know if you come across anything else particularly good related to movies on your Treo.

I was pretty amazed the other day when my brother accessed his home pc from his mobile, and watched movies and played music on his mobile from his home pc, on the other side of the city. THAT was awesome. He doesn't need space on his mobile to store the movies, and just needs internet access. This means that it costs him very little, actually, to access his pc from his mobile and watch movies. I was totally blown away, and what's even better is that once he is all set up I can do the same from my mobile. Wireless and internet really is cool!
