Treo does BlackBerry! It's the real thing now...
"RIM To Enable Aftermarket Solution For BlackBerry Connect Software: Customers Will Be Able To Download BlackBerry Connect Software for their existing Palm OS Device and Subscribe to BlackBerry Wireless Services"
Straight out of the PalmSource Developer Conference, Research In Motion today announced plans to offer an aftermarket BlackBerry Connect(TM) software download for the Palm OS from PalmSource, Inc. (NASDAQ: PSRC). With the BlackBerry Connect software download, customers with existing Palm OS-based wireless devices will be able to sign up for BlackBerry(R) wireless services.
With this announcement I guess that Palm have just removed a huge barrier to the future adoption of the Treo family as one of its strongest contenders - the BlackBerry - will soon become available as an off-the-shelf software that Treonauts can download, install and be ready to go in a snap.
Hopefully we'll have an official release date for this software tomorrow or the day after (even better I'm hoping for a demo...)

I love this idea...
The smart move would be to let the software itself be free, but charge on the backend as they already do for the use of more clients on the server.
I'd love to try it as well...
What is the difference between
Dataviz.com beyond Contacts and inbox-to-go software and blackberry?
Is it the same software solutions from two different companies?
