Treo Family Rumor Mill

Although it doesn't come as a surprise, Engadget reports that palmOne will not discontinue the Treo 600 when the 650 is released but that instead the company will lower the price and keep both devices as a starting point for a future Treo family of products. 

Makes perfect sense to me as the Treo 600 is an absolutely fantastic PDA/Phone/Handheld Entertainment device which can stay on the market to compete effectively against lower priced "wannabe Treo Killers" such as the BlackBerry 7100 series.

I can't wait to see what the next babies are going to look like...
