Treo & iPod: A Case of Two Cases Fit for One
As I mentioned previously, I recently entered the 'iPod World' by buying a 40GB one last week. Naturally I've been playing around with it and listening to music at intervals throughout the day. As I tend to move about a lot I opted for using the included clip-on iPod belt case. After receiving a call on my Treo one afternoon I inadvertently tried to slip the Treo into the iPod case and to my amazement it fitted like a glove!

iPod and Treo in their original cases (left) and swapping cases (right) - there's absolutely no difference with the two fitting perfectly in either.

My Treo securely fastened in its iPod case... It's not small, it's not particularly beautiful, I would not often use it outdoors but it is very comfortable (you hardly notice you have your Treo attached to your hip) and it sure beats carrying the Treo in the pockets of my pants...
Also, since 'component sharing' between palmOne devices is not exactly 'standard' at least it's nice to know that we can swap accessories with other devices out there
Considering that a new iPod case costs $40 I was also really glad to find out that I could leverage it on my Treo this way...
Another reason to buy an iPod if you own a Treo or another reason for Apple to consider buying palmOne?
