Comments
This mentions that the calendar and contacts applications are unchanged. Is it possible that they will be upgraded to be more in line with what is being used on the T3 (categories on calendar, addition of birthday fields to contacts, etc.)?
Henry,
There's no additional information to date as to any software improvements for the 650 but from your description I very much hope that PalmOne will indeed upgrade the Treo sofware to benefit from the features that you describe.
Cheers, A.
The CPU in this phone is an Intel Xscale processor. Don't ask me how I know this because I can't tell.

In the middle of a decision. Made the decision to go with the Treo 600 from the blackberry and now am very interested in all the comments about the Treo 650.
I can wait for the 650 - would it be worth the wait? Has there been any information about the price, will the 650 be similar to that of the 600?
Three topics are of my concern - the increased screen resolution, the bluetooth capability and faster processor.
I have read many comments how everyone is pleased with their current 600 - however given the opportunity to choose between the two - would you hold out for the 650?
Stuck...... - help
Definitely wait, depending on how long. The bluetooth and 320 screen is worth it alone. Those are my biggest peeves about my 600. Picture resolution is crappy as well. Apart from those problems, I LOVE my Treo!
The 600 is missing two crucial element froms my perspective: 1) Bluetooth headset capability, 2) Built-in voice recorder.
When these two hurdles are conquered it will be a killer device!
I am currently with T-mobile with the treo 600. Does anyone know how the competition does with the speed of the Blazer browser. T-mobile's data seems to be somewhat slow and sometimes doesn't work at all. Also, is there a price comparison for the different companies'service (Sprint,Verizon,Atandt,T-mobile)??
Thanks,
Vincent Johnson
