Now Official: Treo 650 GSM Coming Soon!!!

Well, we were mostly 'speculating' about the forthcoming release of the Treo 650 GSM until now but after seeing that palmOne added their own official 'coming soon' picture yesterday we obviously feel that we're on the right track by reporting that Cingular will be releasing theirs by the end of the month...

Trust me when I say that this week promises to be very interesting.

Is there going to be two different GSM/GPRS models? Gizmodo.com seems to think that there will be an EDGE model released for Cigular, and a vanilla GSM/GPRS model released for other GSM based services (T-Mobile). Any thoughts on this?

Andrew,
Any news as to when Verizon Wireless will be carrying the Treo 650 ? I am extremely interested to purchase the unit. Since a friend introduced me to your website, truthfully, I am totally addicted. I check your site everyday for updates and your advise on what software to purchase or what hardware is the most appropriate. I am dying to get my hand on a Treo 650, but not willing to change carrier, so if you can at least give me an approximate date, I will be greatfull.
Regards,
Fady

Hi. I got an unlocked GSM version of Treo 650. But it's not supporting the SIM from my provider "Grameen Phone" in bangladesh. Does anyone have a solution? Please.................

Ashik - I suggest that you ask your provider to give you a new SIM card as this may be the root of your problem.

Cheers, A.
