Quick Mention: PalmSource DevCon PhotoBlog

SplashBlog which I raved about a few months ago was deservedly awarded one of PalmSource’s ‘Powered Up Awards’ for Best Multimedia Solution.

At the same time, SplashBlog released the latest version of its software at the conference and unveiled an innovative ‘Treo group photoblogging’ feature which as its name suggests allows hundreds of Treo wielding photographers to all post pictures to a single dedicated photoblog – a bit like Flickr would work with a dedicated tag.

I will naturally review SplashBlog’s many new enhancements as well as the other Powered Up Awards winners including The Missing Sync, Quick News and Village Sim in the coming weeks.
