Seidio’s New Battery Charger A Solution To Dock, Cradle & Charge Your Treo
You might remember that when Seidio’s new Battery Charger for Treo 650 came out a little while ago many people (including me) were wondering what the purpose of the stylus slot was…
Now that I’ve received my charger and that it’s sitting side-by-side with my existing Seidio INNODock Cradle I’ve finally figured out that the slot on the charger actually works as a practical ‘stylus stand’ which I can take out whenever I need to access an application or contact on my Treo 650.
Separately, the USB powered battery charger is light enough that it has become a perfect travelling companion to charge my spare battery while on the go.
Although this setup works great for me today, what I would really like to see is a company that is able to develop an ‘all-in-one executive desktop docking station’ which would integrate:
- A large dial pad and also large 5 Way navigation buttons
- Treo Hotsync & charge
- 2 x 20W speakers
- Spare battery charger
- USB & Wall power
- Audio In & Out connections
- Stylus slot
- Full Duplex Noise Reduction Speakerphone
- Digital radio
- Landline telephone input
- Bluetooth headset charging slot
- Sliding portable bluetooth keyboard
- All of the above priced at under $250
There’s nothing really complex about delivering this uber-docking station but I wonder if anyone aside from me would really be interested in one…
Treonauts are always looking for all-in-one solutions…

I would buy a gear like that, if that comes to market.
I love that setup, I posted this on my blog:

I have the palm treo cradle, but am really liking the setup you have, I always leave an extra stylus lying next to my cradle.
