Treonauts in Hamburg
I arrived yesterday in Hamburg where I’ll be until Monday after having been invited to take part in the jonet-Tag 2005 congress – a yearly gathering of Germany’s top journalists and more recently also bloggers.
I haven’t had much time to play the tourist yet but was kindly taken on a short tour of the city this morning where among others I had the opportunity to visit a stunning modern building below by a well-known German-Iranian architect whose ground floor had somewhat of a Starship Enterprise feel…
Additionally, the one thing that no person could seem to stop raving about was the fact that the Queen Mary 2 ocean liner – the world’s longest, tallest and reputedly grandest – is currently in the city’s docks undergoing routine maintenance. I had the opportunity to drive by it and to snap this (arguably not great) picture with my Treo. It really is huge and quite spectacular to see up close…
Treonauts are always travelling…

That's a pretty crazy looking building. The Treo sucks at night pics:(
s.elements - indeed, I really wouldn't mind seeing Treonauts' headquarters in a building like that someday! ;-)
Cheers, A.
hey, I saw you at Jonettag. But you know, without emotional discussion of the Gawker-Woman your statements would be left as underestimated sequences, right? So, what to do with blurred and not real analysed photographs, why cheating people? I am sorry to be not so kind, but I really think, all Bloggers have a right to get analysed informations? best regards, cg
That's crazy! Carola must have run her comments through an automated translator or something. Thanks for your Blog, Andy. I really enjoy it and learn a lot from you about our Treo.
The building is "Berliner Bogen" by Bothe, Richter, Teherani (brt.de). The architect is Hadi Teherani.
