The $440,000 Treo Camera Snapshot...
This morning I had a meeting in a Redwood City hotel and on my way out I was suddenly awed by the extraordinary sight of the 200+mph/604bhp Porsche Carrera GT which costs no less than $440,000 and apparently belongs to ‘someone’ at Oracle (whose headquarters are nearby). Naturally, I instinctively pulled out my Treo and began snapping the pictures below…
This is the first time ever that I have come across this car ‘in the flesh’ and it will probably be a little while longer before I see the next one as only some 1,000 are currently roaming the streets worldwide…
I have to admit that I was as excited seeing this car as the first time that I pulled my Treo out of its original box… 
Treonauts love gadgets of all kinds and sizes…

That is one BRAVE Porshe owner--parking something like that in an "open" garage--can you imagine that cost to repair a door ding/ paint scratch, etc??? Not to mention the possibility of someone stealing the thing!
I actually saw the same car on sunday, in black, pulled over across the street from the new trader joes at Union Square in NYC.
There were 2 cop cars for what I imagine was really nothing. I'm a car guy and I must say that living in NYC is the best for car spotting this side of Monaco.

I wish when booting up my Treo's radio I could get it to make an 'engine revving' sound! Anyone know how?

That looks like the valet parking area of the Sofitel in Redwood Shores. Oracle is right around the corner, but why would Larry et al. be at a hotel rather than their offices across the street?
Chance, that Porsche looks in better condition than the guy from Gizmondo's Ferrari Enzo!
I too saw the exclusive Porsche Carrera GT parked ON THE STREET, across from Barney's New York in Chicago. Treo is on the case!
