Treo Stylus | Saved By My Treo 650 Stylus With Pen

Throughout my Hong Kong trip last week I used my new Black Tie Edition Treo 650 (along with a SIM card which I purchased locally) which proved incredibly useful in more ways than one.

For starters, having a GSM Treo with a local SIM card – which you can purchase pretty much anywhere including some very cool SIM-only vending machines (see image on right) – allowed me to receive calls on a local number and to make calls to the US at $0.03 per minute instead of the more common $1.00+ that I would have had to pay with a US card (the only drawback is that I could use the card for voice only and not data…).

The other less obvious thing happened as I had to fill out an immigration form to enter mainland China in Shenzhen (and a few days later also in Macau) but could not find a pen to write with.  This is when I remembered that my new Treo conveniently included a pen stylus instead of just a plain stylus commonly found on all other Treo smartphones.

Leaving aside the fact that many Treonauts all too frequently and easily lose their stylus, I guess that situations like this helps to explain why the pen stylus is one of the most popular accessories for the Treo…

Treonauts always have convenience at their fingertips

I recently lost the stlyus to my Treo 700p ( after just a few weeks - doh! )
I already put in an order for a 3 pack of pen/stylus'es. Stlyii? Anyway. I'm sure they'll come in handy at some point, like yours did.

It sounds lame to rave about such a simple accessory, but this one is probably my second favorite accessory right after the memory card.

I use my pen stylus all the time - it's amazing how often a pen comes in handy when you actually have one. It's more often than the times when you simply have to have one even - just knowing one is there spurs me to jot down notes for people on the spot for instance

My wife is a recent treonaut convert and she was pretty tired of hearing me talk about the treo and the pen. Now I'm not-so-secretly smug every time I see her use it ;-)

Cool! I've often wondered why they never put a combo pen/stylus in their products when it just seems like should come with it.

Makes me want the 700 even more but I doubt I'll get one since I only got my Treo 650 in HK in mid March.

Are there pen refills for this available? Or replace the stylus altogether?

Pen/Stylus is great for banks, grocery or anywhere that you have to sign a receipt. Guaranteed the salesperson doesn't have one, or its run out of ink. I tend to get out my stylus as I get checked out!

I am very dissapointed in the actions taken by your store. I paid the full amount on this order, returned everything as instructed to do so... I was told that I would get a full refund of the purchase price since it was my 3rd. replacement and those Isolator headphones where never properly functional. This order has been PENDING for over 30 Days now without a refund. I didnt pay attention to my bank statement because I was informed that it would take about 4 days from the day you receive my return.

The offer made to me was 1/2 my money back in store Credit... or to receive the same item that I ordered and pay the shipping, I am not expecting the terms of this offer, please help.

My main concern is that if this item becomes defective again; IM GONNA BE STUCK WITH $50.00 DOLLAR headphones that are worthless.

Im not trying to be mean, I just think that if anybody pays $50.00 dollars for heaphones you expect high quality headphones that will work properly. Otherwise I would have kept my hybrids from PALM.

I have made several purchases in the past and for larger amounts;

Receipt #297122 is another purchase I made, and Im hoping to continue upgrading my new 700P... and adding more software and hardware.

Please provide me with a satisfactory answer to my complaint.. I do not want half refunds and if this items are low quality headphones I cannot receive the same order again, on top of the fact that I was instructed that I would pay for Shipping and Handling...

I thank you in advance for your prompt and courteous response in this matter. Please feel free to contact our office at your earliest convenience.
