Vodafone Treo 750v: More & More Images

As I had mentioned before, this week promises to be absolute heaven for more and more images and information about all new Treo smartphones due to be released in the coming weeks and months…  Today we have none other than Vodafone’s gorgeous new Treo 750v…

Apparently these pictures have been provided by an HTC (the company which manufactures the Treo) employee and details appear to confirm the same enhanced internal specifications as those found on Sprint’s forthcoming Treo 700wx (see Sprint Treo 700wx: Ready to Launch) with 64MB of memory and also a new threaded SMS functionality so lacking in Verizon’s Treo 700w.

Not so sure I want a windoz based palm tero. I've tried markspace missing sync for windoz mobile and it is not as good as missing sync for palm os. I am using a Palm device to say away from windoz. If Palm can't do it, then I guess RIM or Nokia with the symbian os can.

From what I'm hearing -- I've got a friend at Cingular, we're looking at Oct. 5th (tenative -- release dates get pushed back) for both 750w and 750p with a $299 price w/ 2 yr contract. Only a little over a month left. I can't wait either.

How many months did it take to release the 700p after the 700w? I'm a mac user and I don't have a treo...yet. I'm waiting for the 750P. I only recently started paying attention to all this treo stuff. If they release the 750w first, like they did with the 700, what could the wait be like for a 750p? I hope AH is right because I don't really want to wait any longer!

I've been closely folowing the 750 and these newest pictures introduce something no one has mentioned that I have seen... I figured for sure our "200-Gigs-of-SD-Cards-toting" host would have picked up on...

The pictures on MyPDACafe seem to show what I believe is a MiniSD logo on the SD tray, no? Someone tell me I'm seeing it wrong.

There goes SD Card investments, I guess!

Duncan - your host is indeed wondering about what he will do with his pile of SD cards!!! ;-)

Cheers, A.

Yep, it definitely is the MiniSD logo...
Pity.
I'm still dying to buy a 750p though!!!! LOL

Bryan

About your question:
"why do we in the us. get all the good stuff last.": Just think of us here in Greece who don't get. . . anything! No providor has ever had the Treo and no stores sell them.
Everyone I know here who has a Treo has bought it in England or N. America.

Duncan, you missed SURUR’s dissertation the past couple of days regarding a possible mini SD slot. SURUR, thanks for presenting this possible dilemma (at least for me) to those of us who have been following this closely and paying attention, at the very least for the past couple of days. Thanks Duncan, but you missed the bus on one of the main questions for the week (just jokes D).

I can't take this suspense anymore when it comes to the possibilities of new models, release dates, and what they should have but end up falling short on. I love my 650, and decided to skip the 750p for the Hollywood (now called a couple other names). I think I might have to go back to simpler times and get a generic phone and extra's (are we still using pagers outside of hospital staff?).

Keep up the good work Andrew.

well, I've been following this stuff closely too, and for that reason, the last 2 SD cards I bought were mini-SD -- they still fit my treo 650 using the included adaptor... It just seemed common sense that if mini-SD was out, the treos would eventually catch up...

Simple math:
Common Sense does not = palm.

I'm also dying for the palm os version of this 750, my 650 is so old and slow now…

On the 750,I wonder why Palm went back to a Blue case like the 650??I like the darker grey-ish/black color of the 700's,and better yet the rubberized/coated Black of the "Black-Tie"Edition 650.My preference would be the Black Tie case on all future Treos
