Treonauts Daily: Now Available Via Email
There are many great things to say about RSS newsfeeds to receive regularly updated information from blogs and other news sources but the fact is that I have found that very few people actually have installed RSS newsreaders either on their Treo (with Quick News) or PC.
Therefore, to make it easier for Treonauts who would much rather prefer to have the ease of receiving each complete individual blog post (with full text and images) delivered via an HTML email to their Inbox we have now launched (thank you Steph) the “Treonauts Daily” newsletter.
Additionally, there is also a “Treonauts Digest” sent out weekly which consists of a brief excerpt of the week’s news on Planet Treonauts and there will soon also be additional newsletters to sign up to including plain text versions of the existing ones.
All that you need to get started receiving your Treonauts Newsletters is simply to complete this form with your email and name. Shortly thereafter you will receive an email requesting you to confirm your subscription – please click the link in that message to begin receiving your newsletters. Additionally you may want to create a [email protected] contact in Outlook or other email client to avoid your newsletter being tagged as bulk mail.
Treonauts are always on top of the news…

Nice to have the option ... but I find that the Sage RSS newsfeed extension to Firefox is an addictive way to easily keep my eyes on more feeds than I could ever browse through by email. Figured I would mention it here for those who have yet to find a suitable lightweight RSS reader.
I personally would much prefer it if you made the RSS feed full text. I already read I my RSS feeds thru my e-mail client on my Treo using RSSFwd.
Since the feeds only contain an excerpt of a post I am going to sign up for the e-mail and see how it goes but please consider making the feed full text.
Thanks.
I also currently have the entire post page downloaded as HTML in Outlook using intraVnews for RSS feeds. Would prefer a full text feed instead of email.
I have a treo 700wx and set up mp3 ringtones via ringo mobile. When I receive a call it plays the tone, but also in the background you can hear the contacts name spoken. How can I remove the contacts name being said? thanks
