Treo Stylus | SPE Solid Stylus Gold, Pink & Silver
There are three things about a replacement Treo stylus which until now had always bothered me particularly considering that it is one of the top 5 most popular Treo accessories:
- Why were only “Pen Stylus” available and not an original pen-less replacement
- Why were replacement styli only available in one colour
- Why did replacement styli only weigh 3 or 4 grams instead of the original 6 grams
I guess that the people at Smartphone Experts must have asked themselves the very same questions as they have just released (pictured above) a set of three spare Treo Solid Stylus, in three different colours and all weighing 6 grams – exactly what I was looking for and it fits both the Treo 650 and Treo 700 series…
Considering how few customization options there generally are for your Treo, a small detail such as having a gold stylus certainly makes enough difference for me. At this stage I only wish that the Treo Solid Stylus could be made available in individual 3–packs of each colour but I am told that this may happen if demand proves high enough for single colour packs.
At the same time I also imagine that the colour range will be expanded even further to accomodate the unique Treo 680 in Graphite, Copper, Arctic and Crimson…
Treonauts always find ways to be different…

Will the new styli fit the Treo 680? The pink is a fun color - wish the 680 would come in pink (which they should have done instead of the red or orange.
i ordered the three pack pen stylus' for my 650 because i thought it would be handy when I needed a pen that I needed at times but found that they never fit into the treo so they ended up in the bottom of my drawer! did anybody else have asimilar problem?
I had a question to you Treonauts. I still have my original stylus, but somewhere along the way, I lost the little piece that fits into the hole. This piece keeps the pressure on the stylus when it is inserted into its slot. Without this piece, the stylus basically just slides up and down and easily falls out.
So, I've been without my stylus for months now. Any clue as to how to get a replacement part?
I love the PEN STYLUS that fits into my Treo 700! I would love them to come in color!
Does anyone make a stylus that is not as slippery as the original? Even these new styli look to be as slippery as the original... a texture, knurled finish, would be nice...
For those looking for the standard stylus that comes with the Treo, it's worth noting that Verizon sells 3-packs on their website (or at least was when I bought some a couple months ago). When I bought mine, it was $9.99 for 3, with shipping included, if I'm not misremembering.

Wendy - these stylus will not fit the Treo 680 but I know that some new ones are already in production and should become available in the Treonauts Accessories Shop soon.
