Krusell Cabriolet & Classic Multidapt + Arm Strap Treo Case Review
Two weeks ago I reviewed the SPE ActiveLife WorkoutCase that I use to listen to music on my Treo while running in the morning and which I highly recommend to anyone who like me wants or needs to take their smartphone on the active-go.
Another solution that I’ve now had the opportunity to test is the new Krusell Arm Strap (pictured below) which conveniently and easily attaches to all Krusell cases such as the Classic and Cabriolet models using its patented Multidapt clip system.
The Krusell Arm Strap consists of a high quality neoprene band with velcro strips and the strong Multidapt buckle which I attached (below) to the new Krusell Classic Multidapt for Treo 750 and Krusell Cabriolet Multidapt for Treo 750 (I also expect Treo 680 compatible models to become available very shortly) as well as my older Krusell Handit Multidapt for Treo 700.
Personally, my favourite of the three cases is the Krusell Classic (above left) which provides a zippered fine leather body and all clear protective plastic front as well as a belt clip and belt loop. Thanks to the new arm band (below) you can also now quickly transform a Krusell case into a great workout case by simply sliding it into the Multidapt clip system.
Overall I sort of prefer the more ‘sporty’ look of the ActiveLife WorkoutCase but there is nonetheless something to be said about the high quality of Krusell’s leather cases and the convenience of their Multidapt clip system which allows you to transform any of their cases from a standard protective case to a sport case thanks to their new arm band add-on.
Treonauts are always the most adaptable…

Am I the only one tired of these reviews of ugly cases for Treos? Most of them are modern incarnations of pocket protectors for pens that nerds used in the past.
What is wrong with putting your Treo in your pocket, just as it is? The only reason to use a case is to protect the screen from scratches, which is much more easily and elegantly done with cheap screen protectors that one can replace periodically.
Understand this site sell cases, though.....
I case is really ugly. But my feeling is that you really need a case for a Treo. Based on #1's comments, not having a case is just opening yourself yourself to scratches and dings if you drop your device.
The best cases I like so far are the SPE Rubberized hard case, the Sena form fit case and the Palm side case. I have ascreen protector to protect my screen. Anything else is a hazzle.
Reason to have a case:
My work out shorts don't have pockets and I'm sure as hell not going to hold the Treo while I'm lifting weights.
I like these reviews.
Keep them coming Andrew.

Full Ack Kumar!
We should start selling cheap fake plastic Treos, so people have a reason to buy their 25th+ new case :-)
>> What is wrong with putting your Treo in your pocket, just as it is?
Pocket-dialing, which my Treo has indeed accomplished alone in my pocket. Also, pocket-DeletingContacts, pocket-GarblingExcelWorksheets, and pocket-SMS.
That's why I need a case, and I'm sure this is not a unique problem.
Not everyone's always got pockets. Some people's pockets aren't made for holding something the Treo's size and shape (men's dress slacks, for instance).
I agree completely about screen protectors - I've always used them - but is the screen really all you want to protect? Ever dropped a naked Treo on a concrete sidewalk and had it bounce around on its edges and corners?
I hate cases too, but after carrying my treo650 in my pocket all the time for 1+ years, dust or some other krud has worked it's way underneath the screen and is very obvious. I'm thinking about getting a Krusell Classic Multidapt simply to minimize the dust from getting under the screen.
