Nite Ize Tooth Ferry Bluetooth Headset Case
My favourite Bluetooth headset today is the Aliph Jawbone Noise Shield but as I mentioned in my original review it has the slight disadvantage of being a relatively bulky wireless headset that is not ideal to carry in your pocket.
I was therefore particularly delighted to get the new Nite Ize Tooth Ferry (pictured above) which provides a high quality leather universal fit wireless headset holder with clip (for belt, purse strap or car sun visor for example).
The Tooth Ferry offers an elastic X-strap system (above) which not only holds your wireless headset securely in place but also ensures that it is extremely easy and fast to insert and remove the headset from your side.
Additionally, this design also has the benefit to fit virtually all Bluetooth Wireless Headsets available for your Treo – particularly for the larger Palm Wireless Headset and Aliph Jawbone but not so well for the popular Jabra JX10 (consider the SPE JX10 Leather Case instead).
Whether you use a holster or a side pouch case such as the bestselling SPE P6 Pouch case pictured above, the new Nite Ize Tooth Ferry offers a very elegant and complementary solution to always carry your wireless headset by your side and have it ready to answer calls quickly.
Treonauts always find new solutions…

I cringe at the idea of wearing that much junk on my belt! Nice idea for a holster, but please, for style sake, latch it onto your bag!!!
Eeesh. That thing is not...cool. I understand the need to protect your headset, but wearing it on the holster, with criss-crossing straps, next to a Treo holster?
LMAO!!! I agree!! You have got to be kidding me!? Where a headset on your belt too?! Its bad enough Ive become so attched to this darn treo that its on my side 24/7, but the line has got to be drawn somewhere! How about another holster for my extra battery too. MAybe another for my spare battery charger and wall adapter as well- never know where you'll be and might have to charge up that dead battery- LOL
(All together now) Da na na na na na na na na... BAT MAN!
Seriously though, we all know that getting a Treo is like alighting at the gravitational edge of a black hole. Slowly at first, and then ever more quickly we begin to have to accumulate accessories - SD cards, extra batteries, a case for every activity, styli up the wazoo, adapters, chargers, headsets...
And granted, because individuality and choice are such powerful compulsions in our society, "one size" will never fit all.
And, the BT stereo headset I currently use (Sony Ericcson HBH DS970) is extremely sloppy and unelegant when it's not in use...
And...and...and....but dayum, I'm not "feeling" this thing at all. Perhaps it's because you've got the pouch case taking up horizontal real estate already just makes things look awefully crowded, and forget about it if you're wearing a suit jacket, the unsightly bulges would make even George Costanza finally give up his wallet.
Castanza might go for the total geek package if he lived in this first decade of the new millenium, but for sure, Cosmo would just wear the Jawbone on his head. And I mean, like, 24/7. They are waterproof, right. Giddy Up!

The "Wow" starts now. Thats some serious geek wear. I can only imagine some fashion models sporting that stuff down the runway. I think one could make a pretty good movie with this kind of stuff as a theme. Keep it comming!
Iiieh, this is exactly the way I wanna look when walking through the streets. Incredible...
Sorry Andrew, I think we have taken a collective s**t on the deal.
No more than one item on the belt...
Treo Man Law!
No, G, it's not about more than one item, it's about no item at all. A Treo belongs into your pocket and nowhere else. Everything else is definitively too nerdy. Except you're beverage supplier, but in that case you'll need a Nokia 6210 anyway...
As the topic has been obliterated.
OFF TOPIC: Is it possible a "Previous Entry" button can be added to the bottom of pages, to go back to previously blogged items. I cannot recall the headline, nor which topic it belongs under, therefore I am SOL...
Oh man, this is so embarrassing. That beyond-dorky horizontal leather Treo full-enclosure case would elicit stares from myself (and any even halfway-fashion-conscious individual), but additional things 'holstered' onto the belt? Only if you are a cop or a security officer and you are wearing a belt with things on it. Or Batman, as a previous poster said. I can just envision a middle-aged man with the nerdiest Oakley sunglasses tucking in his t-shirt into his tapered-leg jeans with his dress belt on, and these things holstered on his side... *cringe*
Along with that dorky horizontal leather Treo full-enclosure, tucking in his t-shirt into his tapered-leg jeans with his dress belt on, comes the wretched comeover... so brace yourself.
Andreas,
Works for me. Pocket is where I keep it. Didn't want to hate on belt wearers!
Man Law Amended!
Andrew,
can we post this picture on flickr? Or digg it? I just hope that's not you on the pic...
Terrific comments, btw :-)
Yeah...I'm gonna have to jump on with everyone else here. Back in the day I LOVED having crap hanging off my belt, but I was biker/punk-type and it suited me. Cigaratte case? Check. Zippo case? Check. Trucker wallet? Check! Multitool? Check! But it all matched my long hair, leathers, boots and dangly, spiked skull earring.
Heh. Fun days.
Today...I do wear my Treo on my belt where it's most accessible, but I have to draw the line there. Batman's cool and all, but I don't wanna emulate him at work. ;-)
