Treo Fashion Case by Prima for Nicole Miller
Although there are increasingly more Treonauting women in the world the fact is that when it comes to finding a Treo case for them you quickly discover that this is a segment that has been very much underserved.
Until now the best that women Treonauts could hope for was to find a standard Treo case that had been rendered more ‘feminine’ by simply adding a touch of colour such as red or pink – for example the Sena MagnetFlipper, SPE UltraSlim PocketPouch or RexRegina Avant-Garde case.
I am very glad to see that things are finally changing with the recent introduction of a new range of Treo fashion cases designed specifically for women under the Nicole Miller brand and manufactured by Prima. There are currently four models available but I am told that over a dozen other ones will be added in the coming weeks as well.
As a man it is evidently a little bit hard for me to judge the ‘fashion value’ of these new women’s cases but a girlfriend recently told me that she wanted her ideal Treo case to be able to make both a fashion statement (with a cool design or material) and also somehow offer some ‘theatrical’ value with pockets that need opening or another type of enclosure that creates a process for accessing her Treo. I had never thought about this before but it certainly helped me to understand why only men appear to answer a call after the first ring when women can more easily wait until the very last ring to do so…
The Nicole Miller case above is built from a very thick suede leather (brown or grey) and offers a large decorative buckle at the front, a carry strap and an unusual hidden magnetic closure inside the top of the case to ensure that your Treo does not accidentally fall out. Additionally the interior is lined with a matching colour cotton fabric for scratch protection.
This next case above is a colourful and elegant model built with poly silk taffeta with a Nicole Miller print, two removable snap carry straps (one short and one shoulder length strap included), a large and strong front magnetic closure shaped like a bow tie and a green cotton interior lining.
There’s no doubt that I’ve found all these Nicole Miller fashion cases to be well built, fun, elegant and also very good value. I can see how they would make an ideal gift and also how they will undoubtedly now better meet a woman’s Treo fashion criteria.
Separately, for men my favourite Treo cases are still the:
– SPE UltraSlim Executive PocketPouch (which I use daily)
– SPE P6 Pouch Case (which I recently voted Best Treo Case)
– BodyGuardz Protective Skin (which cover my Treo for added scratch protection)
Treonauts are always the most fashionable…

These are truly dull days for Treo owners. I don't know how many reviews of cases I can take. I am so disapointed with PALM. I love my 650, but they should have had something revolutionary out by now. The iPhone is looking better by the day.
danny - thanks for the tip. The Coach case is not bad but still significantly more expensive and considerably more dull than the Prima Nicole Miller cases in my opinion...
Josh - I can't say that I disagree with you... There have indeed been few 'amazing' news of late on Planet Treonauts even though some developments and new accessories have kept me excited... It's on the hardware and software fronts that I find most to complain about these days BUT good sources tell me that Palm's new product pipeline is 'absolutely terrific' so hang in there just a little longer as you will definitely find a great Treo smartphone to upgrade to...
Cheers, A.
Whether it has a big monogrammed logo (Chanel), identifiable characteristics (Fendi ‘s buckle and mesh), or bold prints, NYC ladies are outfitted with substantial pieces—sometimes even two bags at a time...
