UltraSlim Treo Leather Holster: Top Marks

Aside from quality and design, one of my key criterias when selecting the best Treo cases has always been about how slim, practical and comfortable a case is.  Typically Treo holsters have held the greatest appeal followed by Treo side cases (with the #1 bestselling P6 Pouch Case) and also Treo skin cases.

A slightly overlooked case category though is that of Treo leather holsters and the new SPE UltraSlim Holster (pictured here) is without a doubt the finest example that I have come across to date – one that now easily makes one of my favourite Treo cases.

For starters, the SPE UltraSlim Holster is barely thicker than my Treo, handcrafted in fine leather, lined with protective velvet on the inside and a strong fixed leather belt clip with a low profile as well.  This holster also makes an important improvement over its sister UltraSlim Executive PocketPouch (which I love and use daily) in that two small neoprene pads have been added on the inside to ensure that your Treo does not accidentally slide out.

When used with the antenna-less Treo 680, Treo 750 or new Treo 755p another benefit for me is that I can insert my smartphone upside down (image above) and be able to plug my headphones to listen to music while on the go.

Given that it’s one of the thinnest, lightest and slimmest leather Treo cases available it should not be surprising that the vertical UltraSlim leather holster fits tightly and extremely comfortably on my waist while the top-loading design makes it quick and easy to remove your Treo and answer calls while also providing direct access to the Silent Slider at the top.

I am very impressed with this new UltraSlim leather holster and easily give it top marks as my preferred model in this category as well as making it one of my favourite Treo cases overall – quite a meaningful position considering that there are over 100 models to choose from.
