Every day dozens of individuals on the Treonauts team, thousands of blog and forum readers as well as customers to our Treo Accessories Store and Treo Software Store contribute to the continued development of this extraordinary community.
As a result of your many contributions Treonauts.com has recently received some unique praises, recognition and awards that I wanted to share with you as well as to take this opportunity to thank you and all the people whose efforts and support have made this possible.
According to the Editors of PC World, with a huge universe of 70 million+ blogs the signal-to-noise ratio is bound to be daunting and they therefore shared a list of the “100 Blogs We Love” covering their favorite stops in the blogosphere – those that have an element of “voice” where the people who write it express a clear opinion in the words and images they include.
I am proud, honoured and very grateful to PC World for having selected Treonauts within their Specialty Tech Sites category and also for their very kind praises – it means a lot to me and the entire Treonauts team that is dedicated to making this site the best destination for all Treo smartphone owners.
I can assure you that we will not rest on our laurels – we have many plans going forward and have barely scratched the surface of all the things that we have set out to achieve.
Treonauts.com is also a 2007 Codie Award Winner. We were voted “Best Corporate Blog” for a site specifically created to complement an existing product/business or about products/businesses in an industry.

Congratulations, a well-deserved honor to both the admins and Treonaut community. :)
Congrats! I think those of us who lurk here already knew this, but it's nice to have it recognized by the Grand Poobahs of PC-Dom. I get emails from a gazillion Treo equip shops, but this is where I come to to hear the Revealed Truth before I buy. ;-D
I mentioned a couple days ago, when the first iPhone reviews came out, that it was amazing to me that the top story on this site was a sync-charge cable that had been out for, oh, a couple years.
Now it's so-called iDay, when the iPhone will be released, and Palm just released sharply worse quarterly numbers (while RIM and Apple are soaring), and there is this self-congratulatory award posting.
OK. I think this is a nice site for Treo-related stuff, but JEEZ GUYS don't you think you could actually post something that shows you are thinking about these issues?? Your beloved Palm platform, with all its strengths, is going to get EATEN FOR LUNCH and DISAPPEAR unless Palm gets some much better ideas real fast.
But on this site, not a peep. It's puzzling and very disappointing.
Maybe you should start prepping an iNauts site?
I have been a Treo user and Verizon customer for years (over 12). I'm leaving both due to the numerous faults and delay in getting the Treo right. Blazer is a joke and the delays on my 600, 650 and my later 700 were not acceptable. I gonna give Apple and ATT a well deserve shot. Hopefully during the next two years, Palm will get its act together and listen to it ONCE PAYING FORMER-CUSTOMER! :-(
