Treo 750 Windows Mobile 6 Available Now (For Corporate Only...)
This post will probably only add salt to the gushing wounds of existing Treo 750 owners who are undoubtedly screaming “Aaaargh!!!” by now as their highly anticipated Treo 750 update (last expected this past Tuesday, Nov. 6) keeps getting postponed time and time again but it’s nonetheless good news to see that Palm’s Business Solutions website is now already offering the Treo 750 smartphone with Windows Mobile 6 pre-installed – albeit only to corporate customers looking to make multi-unit purchases and not yet individual consumer purchases…
Quite rightly many people are wondering how it’s possible that a new AT&T Treo 750 with Windows Mobile 6 is already available to buy for corporate customers (a clear indication that AT&T have fully certified WM6 for use on the Treo 750) and yet there is still no sign of an update for existing owners…
Although it’s probably best not to get anybody’s hopes up again, the latest rumours do point to a release of the Treo 750 update at the end of next week around November 16 (apparently the update was indeed originally slated for release on Nov. 6 but delayed at the last minute as a couple of bugs were found and Palm/AT&T naturally wanted to ensure that nobody had to go through the pains of installing a buggy update).
I have to admit that it’s a real shame that this update has been delayed for so long as the Treo 750 (available with no contract for $499) is a great smartphone which most people constantly rave about and they would undoubtedly be even happier if WM6 has already been made available to them…
Separately, there are also no news yet about the equally highly anticipated release of the Treo 680 update but I have to assume that this will be provided simultaneously with that of the Treo 750.

This is the biggest bunch of crap I have ever seen. So much for all the lies from CSRs at ATT who keep telling us that the ROM is still being tested. Apparently the ROM is good enough only if you plan to buy bulk.
Gee, look. Palm did something stupid. Who'da ever thunk it'd happen?
Palm fans need an intervention to break the battered wife syndrome.
Touch-Commander.com, provides sliding "one touch" access to phone calls, emails, SMS messages, calendar functions, pictures, music, videos and other applications and commonly used content.
Touch Commander is much the same as the finger touch scrolling, browsing, and spinning of a three dimensional interface by the finger, that is found on the Apple iPhone and the TouchPhone by HTC.
At what point do we expect Verizon to catch up and make available the 750?
I bought my TREO 750 2 weeks ago up here in Canada and it has Windows Mobile 6 already preinstalled a Rogers.
